“Daydreaming of Fall” Summer 2024 Diary Entry 3

BUT! The Holy Spirit constantly reminds me of this verse,

Matthew 6:34 says, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own".

I know God desires for us to focus on the day at hand, but I do feel that God accepts that we feel nostalgic at times, just to get us through the mundane of everyday. Or at least bring back fond memories that we’ve created here in this realm.. 

I love to watch flowers and trees go through all 4 seasons, and I look forward to potting different flowers throughout the year. So this summer, to get me excited and looking forward to the Fall, I decided to plant my own pumpkin plant!! A “jack be little pumpkin” at that! I love seeing it meta morph weekly and I’m so excited to harvest it in the fall. 

A “winning” book  titled “Pumpkin Jack” by Will Hubbell  that you can read shows a pumpkin life cycle in the most colorful and artistic way.

I adore reading it to my students in the Fall.

I also, to cure my PSL cravings, start adding pumpkin pie seasoning that you can get off the baking aisle to my vanilla coffee creamer 😬.
